Contractual Priorities
First among all our priorities is to be immediately responsive to our clients’ requirements and this relates to all aspects of the contractual and operational relationship.

Our management will, through detailed discussions with clients, ensure complete understanding and awareness of the specific requirements of each project and that these are highlighted in the technical proposal.

Ongoing monitoring of all aspects of the site since the first weeks of operations will allow implementation of a quality improvement plan. This plan is further developed through daily meetings with client’s operational representative, negotiations and mutual agreement on solutions to day to day issues.

Purchasing Management
Purchasing management plays an important role in providing raw materials to the operation. It starts with supplier qualification, product testing and evaluation against detailed specifications in terms of quality, brands and packing units of the foodstuffs, all playing an important part of our value chain.

This process of is done with the aim of selecting the most cost effective option compared to the budget allocated for the project.

Our expertise in purchasing management is passed onto our clients in the form of reduced prices, better quality and improved local trade relationships.
Operational Management
Our management is highly trained, experienced and is familiar with all aspects of running our client’s projects as well as optimizing the use of all materials used on site. This has specific relevance to our menu cycle which is designed to exceed clients’ requirements through careful menu planning, cost-effective solutions and the development of housekeeping programs which maintain clients’ sites in a high state of cleanliness.

Our management team will ensure that not only is operational excellence achieved, but is done so in a systematic manner as part of a documented quality management system.

Financial Management
Our skills in financial audit and control will also play an important part in reducing the overall cost in both the catering and life services of the projects.

We will have clearly defined procedures for purchasing, receiving, storage, issuing and accounting for stock inventories on site.

Our expertise in financial control will reduce costs and create savings which are passed onto our clients in the form of reduced prices.

Training & Personnel Development
People’s ability and experience will influence how training is delivered. We will implement staff trainings, refresher trainings as well as providing training courses on location to ensure that the technical execution of the services is of the highest standard and is complemented with the development and implementation on-site of rolling quality improvement plans.
Sustainable Development
Our objective is to recruit heavily from the local community, to set up local supply chains and to provide job-training programs to help workers acquire valuable skills. That way, local suppliers learn how to meet international quality standards and stimulate their local markets, while our clients get the quality products and services they expect.
Logistics Management
In addition to the Palm Hotel as its operational base, Palm Catering Services has its own purpose-designed vehicles for the movement of dry, chilled and frozen foodstuffs as well as adequate storage for the projects it services.
